The escrow balance is the total amount that as a business you have collected but that is not yet available to withdraw, that is, it's a "blocked" balance until you receive the approval from the shopper on the product or service that you have charged. In order to guarantee customer satisfaction.

This balance will remain in guarantee until:

• Orders requiring shipping have been delivered and are updated to "Awaiting shopper approval" status. From there, the buyer will have a period of 24 hours to indicate whether they approve the release of the purchase amount or if they want to file a dispute because they are not satisfied with what they paid.
• Digital or service-type product orders have a shopper notification wait time of 6 hours and are updated to the status "Awaiting shopper approval". From there, the shopper will have a period of 24 hours to indicate whether they approve the release of the purchase amount or if they want to file a dispute because they are not satisfied with what they paid.

Escrow balance detail

The escrow balance will be displayed in the Dashboard and will depend on the operation mode you have configured, that is, you may see only a section of escrow balance for FIAT orders, only for crypto orders, or both.

If you have received payments with crypto mode enabled, you will be able to view more details about this escrow balance at the bottom of the dashboard page.
